"Oh, how I hate to go. This house has been a refreshing tonic to a drab Oregonian winter. I enjoyed six indulgent weeks of golden sunrises, lulled to sleep by the heartbeat of a city so alive! The roominess of the house, the contrast of white with vibrant colors enhanced imagination and allowed my writing to soar with the gulls. My blessing upon this house and all who make it their refuge."
~Michele, Oregon
"We certainly enjoyed our stay here, particularly the large rooms and two balconies. Very nice indeed. Such a lovely house with great cool breezes in all directions. Fun to watch the neighborhood wake up. Love Mazatlan / the people / the sites / the weather..."
~Leslie and Richard, Sault Ste. Marie
"The week just flew by... could have stayed for months. Loved the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. Already planning for the next time."
~Iverson and Nahlovskys, Minneapolis and St. Paul
"What a wonderful week! We ate all our meals on one of the patios. The views are so beautiful it was a shame to stay inside too long, especially since we’re from northern Minnesota and it’s so full of life. This entire place is. We’ll be sad to leave it."

"The house was a wonderful place to come. Very comfortable. Thank you so very much. Returning to Salt Lake will be hard."
~Dave & Denice, Salt Lake City
"'De Aqui Soy...' This wonderful sign, found all over this beautiful city—The City of the Pacific Ocean—greeted me everywhere I went. It, as well as the congeniality of the local residents—from pulmonia drivers to mercado workers and the incredible charismatic friends at Don Pancho’s—made me feel so very welcome. I sincerely felt I was part of ---not apart from the world around me. 'De aqui soy;' I am from here; this is my ----; I belong here. This is the message I received wherever I went. It all began, however, when I arrived at Paseo Centenario, #5, Casa el Sueño del Mar where, for the past month, I found peace, joy, renewal, rest and new wonderful friends; Ken, Gloria, Esther, and heart-stealing Paulina! Although I am leaving physically, part of me, especially my spiritual self, will always remain here in this dream land by the Pacific! 'De Aqui Soy!'"
~WDS, Salt Lake City

"When visiting Stone Island, there are many stray dogs who are extremely friendly-I would buy doggie biscuits @ local stores in Mazatlan & bring w/me to feed them. Currently 1 litter (1.5 wks old) is @ Lety’s Bar and Grill."

"What a wonderful visit we had in Mazatlan and what a wonderful place to stay! We truly enjoyed and appreciated your beautiful home and all the care you put into it. Visiting our son here was the highlight and hanging in his 'local' taco & smoothie spots, friends and waves were perfect. It is hard to say goodbye. Thank you so much. God Bless You,"

"What a way to start the new year! We came to witness a beautiful wedding of two wonderful young people. The setting could not have been more perfect. The Casa de Sueños has been our “home” for 7 days and made our trip even more magical. Mazatlan will surely be a future destination again and probably the 'Casa,' too. Feliz Ano Nuevo!"
~Patricia & Bob
"What a view! We have visited Mazatlan many times but have never seen it the way we have this time. Even the noise, dogs barking, bands playing at 5:00 am, vehicles driving by couldn’t have dampened our spirits. What a special place you have found. Thank you for sharing this with us."
~Melanie and Dan
"Our 200 hours of solitude were a stimulating blend of great food / sights / sounds and time spent with wonderful friends. We look forward to returning soon!"

"Had a great time. What a beautiful house--just like having a home away from home. Weather in Thompson Manitoba is -39 today, so we are enjoying the warm sun and walking along the beach. We loved the location, as we can walk to the market for supplies or just get staples from the store at the bottom of the hill. Thanks again for sharing your house. Hope to come back next year."
~Donna and Eugene, The Pas, Manitoba Canada
"A great house for tres hermanas, one husband, one son. Living here - all the space and light and colors - has been a huge part of our pleasure. Many thanks!"
~Jean, Tom, and Dylan - Vancouver, BC
"We really did enjoy the house. It is well equipped and comfortable, as well as lots of space to spread out, and just have a bit of space. We had a great vacation. Thanks for all your help in advance, and Ken and Gloria were very helpful, and pleasant."
~Peg - Niagara on the Lake
"I loved your home. I took pictures of the art on your walls, and pictures from the balconies, and many scenes will remain in my mind, even without the pictures. This was our best visit to Mexico partly because we were so comfortable at Paseo Centenario #5, and because there was so much light in your home."
~Sally - Whitby, Ontario
